Privacy Policy

We collect only what is needed to write your contest letter. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not look up vehicle owners from plate numbers.

1. Information we collect

• Account: email address, password (stored by Firebase Authentication, never visible to us), optional mobile phone number.
• Profile: first and last name, city, state, how you drive (personal, taxi, rideshare, commercial), number of vehicles.
• Vehicles: plate number and state, plate type, make, model, and optionally year, color and VIN.
• Tickets: photos of your tickets, the information read from them, your corrections, your answers to the questionnaire, the evidence files you add, and the letters you write and sign.
• Payments: purchase history and credit balance. Card details are entered on Stripe's, Apple's or Google's payment pages and are never stored by us.
• Technical: basic logs needed to run and secure the Service (for example error logs and the number of scans per day).

2. How we use it

• To read your ticket, build your questionnaire and draft your letter.
• To process payments, credits and refund requests.
• To send you account emails (for example email verification and password reset).
• To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and provide support.

We do not use your tickets, photos or letters for advertising, and we do not sell or rent personal information.

3. Service providers

• Google Cloud / Firebase (United States): hosting, database, file storage, login.
• Google Gemini on Vertex AI (United States): reads ticket photos and drafts letter text. Under Google Cloud's terms, this data is not used to train Google's models.
• Stripe: card payments on the web.
• Apple and Google: in-app purchases on iPhone and Android.

4. Who can see your data

Your data is private to your account. A small number of authorized be Unfined staff can access account information to provide support, process refunds and prevent abuse; each such action is recorded in an audit log.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account, your profile, vehicles, tickets, photos, evidence, letters and credit history are permanently deleted. Payment records may be kept by Stripe, Apple or Google as required by law.

6. Your choices and rights

• Edit your profile and vehicles in the app at any time.
• Delete a ticket and its photo from the ticket screen.
• Delete your account and all its data from Profile → Delete my account.
• Depending on your state (for example California), you may have additional rights to know, correct or delete your information. Contact us to exercise them.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our providers. Access rules ensure each person can only read their own data. No method of storage is 100% secure; please use a strong password.

8. Children

The Service is for adults (18+) and is not directed to children.

9. Changes

If we change this policy in a significant way, we will notify you in the app.
